New features
Major functionalities:
- Barcode search: The product catalog makes it easy to find a product by scanning the barcode.
- Estimate: The creation or display of an estimate is completely reorganized. Everything is done independently of the medical file. A button is available from the search screen or in the medical file, the elements are inserted in the estimate directly as we do to add them to the medical file.
- Laboratory integration:
• Antech: Integration of Antech (Biovet 2.0)
• Lab results synch automatically, even if the lab test screen is not open at the clinic. - Message centre: Allows to see the messages that are sent and received (SMS, email and internal). It replaces the old "communications log" screen.
- Notification when receiving laboratory result: Each laboratory test result received and automatically inserted in a file will generate an internal message that is sent to the veterinarian assigned to the file. Double click on the message to view the related file.
- Option to force a selection on a drop-down menu for the selected services: For instances where a service has several pricing schedules, a new option has been added to the service catalogue to check whether the pricing schedule has been selected before adding to the file.
- Reminder: A product sale can automatically generate a reminder.
- Vaccine: The serial number and expiration date can be selected when you make the sale and will appear on the vaccination certificate.
- Insurance: Added a section to note the name of the insurance compagny and the insurance policy # for an animal.
- Reports:
• New ABC inventroy report
• New inventory report "Products list to receive" (ordered, but not receive) - Multi-establishment: Activation of the orders allowing the management with different order point for each establishment
Improvements:
- Message centre:
• Communications can now be viewed for longer than a month.
• The columns in the Message centre client-selection window have been resized. - Order: The product catalogue shows whether the product is already on order.
- Print attachments: Printing the medical file gives you the option to select all the attachments to print.
- Microchip: The animal's microchip number, if entered, is printed on the medical record
- Pop-up note:
• It is displayed from within the appointment book, when you open the edit-appointment window and from the visit list when you open the medical file.
• In addition to the search window, the note is now displayed in the reminder list, the visit list (when opening the file) and in the appointment book (when adding a new appointment).
• Displays animal breed and species - Reminders:
• The reminder batches window now shows those linked only to a person (without being assigned to a patient).
• The reminder list window now includes a button creating a quick link to the message center (to send an e-mail or SMS)
• In the reminder list window, a link to open the customer search window has been added via the context menu on the reminder - Register: In the prescription register, both the animal identification number and the visit number have been added.
- SMS:
• The SMS appointment confirmation shows the names of all the patients assigned to the appointment.
• The date format has been updated to a standard format (YYYY-MM-DD), enabling certain types of cell phone to create a reminder or event in the cell phone calendar
• A character counter has been added to the "Animail" window and the appointment confirmation window - Email:
• In the message centre, it is now possible to use a “Freeform message” template to send an email. The “Freform message” template can be configured in the “Animail” window and does not require any HTML code
• When sending appointment confirmations by email, it is now possible to select the template of your choice before sending - Laboratory test: In a new column, the laboratory test window shows the name of the veterinarian assigned when you sell a laboratory request.
- QR code: On both invoice type (letter and coupon), a QR code can be added as an option with a link to a website
- Medical record: Warning if another user is present in a visit to avoid losing data
- Deposit: Renamed the “Delete” button to “Refund” for less confusion
- Prescription:
• The prescription report now displays prescriptions “filled elsewhere” as well as the history
• Controlled substance prescription renewal: The lot number must be added manually before applying the renewal - Products catalog: In the search window result section, the “Revenue Category” column has been removed allowing more space to view longer product description
- Establishment name: The establishment name can now be changed directly in the software, in the general options
- Training: A link “Training documents” and “Training videos” have been added in the software
Fixed bugs:
- Supplier code: A warning message now appears when a new product’s supplier code is the same as that of an existing product
- History: The "Search" button in the sales transactions history no longer clears the selection criteria.
- Laboratory: Internal laboratory requests are now grouped together, even if they are charged from different services within the same group.
- Regional settings: A change in the regional settings no longer forces the application to close
- Dosage: In the product catalogue, a label’s text is saved when you move to the next product
- Communication preferences: You can no longer send an email to a client when their communication preferences indicate that they do not wish to receive them.
- Reminder:
• By setting the status of a vaccine reminder to "Cancelled", the vaccination is no longer deleted
• Recall window date sorting options corrected
• In certain situations, the booster list window no longer allowed you to modify search dates
• Recall batch generation no longer counts 100% of animals when selecting or excluding a product or service whose description begins with a space, or when excluding an OTC product
• A reminder associated with a customer that has been deleted can now be restored
• The function for spreading a batch of reminders over more than one day is now functional
• An error occurred when generating a recall batch if all products had been selected
• A single customer could end up in different recall batches once the original batch had been split - Message centre:
• In rare situations, the window for sending an SMS will no longer open if the customer does not have a cell phone number
• The SMS window is fully displayed when deleted messages are selected in the message center window
• 100-character limit for the subject of e-mail messages to avoid errors
• Duplicate SMS messages received have been corrected
• The various templates (e-mail and SMS) are now arranged in alphabetical order in the drop-down menu - Delete visit: A visit can now be deleted even if a lab result has been added and deleted beforehand
- Medical record:
• The warning message of a prescription is now visible when printing the medical record
• The user’s “Initials” field was blocked at 3 characters, as it was causing an error
• The age of an animal continued to advance in time, even though the animal was deceased - Windows layout: The layout of several windows has been redone, as it was not adjusted properly when the window was enlarged
- Invoice: In some situations, items printed on the invoice were not displayed in the client’s language
- Products catalog:
• Searching could make the “Results/Search” section completely disappear
• Deleting the revenue category made a product impossible to find later
• It was possible to save a product without Qty/Format - Groups catalog: The “Search result” section was not refreshed when the search was reset
